Courtesy meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea with Chairperson Dahal
Kathmandu, 7 Chait. Park Tae-young, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, had a courtesy meeting with National Assembly Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal.
In the courtesy meeting held on Tuesday in the office of the President of the National Assembly at Singhdarbar, the relationship between the two countries and the strengthening of cooperation between Korea and Nepal were discussed.
On that occasion, National Assembly Speaker Dahal discussed the completion of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Korea and expressed his belief that in the future, the two countries will continue to cooperate in economic development, employment, and even at the people's level.
Referring to the formation of the Nepal-Korea Parliamentary Friendship Group by the Federal Parliament, Chairman Dahal said that through the Parliamentary Friendship Group, it will be easy for parliamentarians of the two countries to share parliamentary experience and practice.
"We have formed the Nepal-Korea Parliamentary Friendship Group on behalf of the Federal Parliament", President Dahal said, "I believe that the formation of the Parliamentary Friendship Group will further strengthen the mutual relationship between the two countries and will play a special role in parliamentary practice and experience sharing."
During the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal Parkl said that the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Nepal will help to make the relations between the two countries more harmonious. He also mentioned that the Korean government will give special priority to the economic development and prosperity of Nepal.
During the meeting, Ambassador Park conveyed to the newly elected Speaker of the National Assembly, Dahal, a congratulatory message sent by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Kim Jin-pyo.
