National Assembly, Nepal


The Constitution of Nepal has provided for the National Assembly to address the fair representation of the provinces, the balance of administrative power and the balance of efficiency and effectiveness. The constitution envisages the National Assembly as a permanent administrative body. The National Assembly is indispensable for the establishment and development of an inclusive and democratic governance system by including marginalized and endangered communities in the governance of the nation.
At least three women, one Dalit and one person with disabilities from each province will be selected by the electoral panel consisting of the members of the state assembly, the head and deputy head of the local level.
